At Runner's High, we've established what we think is the best staff in the world. We maaay be a little bias - but for anyone that has had the opportunity to get fit by, ask a question or have a general conversation with our staff...we think they'd agree. Learn a little bit more about these fantastic individuals that make up the Runner's High family and stop by and see our crew at either of our locales!!

Frankie, a Metuchen native, has had a connection to the Runner’s High family since his childhood. Rob coached Karen, his mother, during her marathon running days. Frankie remembers walking home past the shop on his way home from school everyday. Little did he know, when he was old enough to work, he would get his first job at the High. Frankie has grown to be one of the most valued and experienced workers in the shop. Whether it be selling you the best pair of shoes, giving you his input, or even just making you smile as you walk out the door, Frankie is always happy to be working and assuring that you have an experience to remember.
Gail Komm is Metuchen's longest tenured employee, wearing many hats including sales associate, head coach of the Runner's High beginner running program and our group run coordinator. She can be found always with a smile and offering treats for any pup that may come by the shop.
Steve got his start in the running world with cross country, winter and spring track in high school and in college earning the MVP award on his college team. He has also been a track and cross country coach and a track official in central NJ. Steve has been working in run specialty for many years and runs - or in his words, “puts in the miles” - all around NJ. Steve once ran every day for a year but now sticks to 40 miles a week. Things Steve really likes about working at a running store are learning shoe specs, meeting people and hearing customers’ stories.
Rob Nap is a 2 time 1500 meter world champion qualifier, Puerto Rican national record holder, a former division 1 runner for Columbia University, and a sub 4 minute miler. Around the shop, you’re likely to hear him refered to as “Frosh,” a nickname he affectionately received from Rob during his freshman year at RBC, where he earned multiple NJ state titles. He’s been an honorary member of the Runner’s High family ever since.
